Thanks again for the great Garden Fence. So nice to work with a contractor who actually listens to what a client really wants. The fence is exactly what we wanted, both from a visual perspective as well as functional (Fort Knox as you put it). Having watched you and Paul construct it over the last week, I know it is built to last and we have many years of deer and bunny free gardening in front of us. Thanks!

Mark and his crew worked on an old cabin of mine. They saved it! They had to shore it up, replace rotten wood, refinish floors, add insulation, etc. etc. and make it look original. What a great job they did. It was very easy working with Mark. He listened to what I wanted to do in keeping the cabin looking like it was still built in the 1920's. Success all around.

I called Mark Williams of Island Home Repair to give me a hand. Mark has worked for me before and he has an excellent work ethic. He knows this area and puts extra effort into his work to produce a quality product that will last in this kind of weather. Mark has joined with Paul Rempa and Carlton Hughes forming an exceptionally talented team that can tackle everything from built-in cabinets to replacing a roof.

To make a long story short….repairing the chimney turned into about 6 full boards of roof sheathing and eventually replacing all of the roofing material on that side of the house. What was a poorly protected roof that had venting systems trapping moisture instead of allowing it to escape is now a well constructed, perfectly vented roof with bomb-proof weather protection. The hardiboard chimney with a custom-made metal cap will outlast the rest of the house.

Mark was a pleasure to work with and met my budgets when money was tight. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest contractor who's always trying to do the right thing for his clients!

First of all a great thank you is due to Mark and everyone else involved for your great work. Mark and his crew are very professional, punctual, very thorough in their work and go above and beyond their call of duty. Being fairly new to Anacortes, in the past five years we have gone through various workers while doing remodeling and repairs in our home not to mention the great expense, only to have it repaired again. Mark and the rest of the crew just finished installing under cabinet lighting in our kitchen as well as a few other repairs and we are very happy with the outcome. Mark is very artistic and very helpful with suggestions. Carlton is an artist with wood as well. We highly recomend Mark and his entire crew to anyone that needs work done for they are the best.

Mark Williams can wear a number of proverbial hats. He first repaired an electrical problem on our hot tub, having never worked on one before. He is smart. He hand dug a drainage line under my deck. He is not afraid of hard work. He engineered and repaired my deck support for my 3000 pound hot tub. Next he installed a number of new windows in our cottage up near the peak of my roof. He is fearless. Next came bulkhead repairs, which had to be refaced with new panels. He is a good engineer. He plumbed my kitchen and installed a new granite tile surface. He is artistic. He also shows up on time, does quality work for a fair price and is a pleasure to have around a job site.

Mark has done many projects around my house with more in the works. He has installed all new interior doors, a new wood floor in the family room, a dog door, new can lights throughout the house, a built in book shelf and entertainment center to name a few, next up is the bathroom and kitchen.
